Release Notes

The second showing of all the new features and bug fixes added since Alpha Preview 1.

This version includes new features such as "shake" to cancel and continue, a refactored plugin system, nearly seamless "Visual Feedback" backwards compatibility for those without the Desktop Window Manager (Aero) enabled. notification area enhancements, and one additional plugin (Send Keystrokes). There are also numerous bug fixes and tweaks.

I really hope you enjoy High Sign and I encourage everyone to leave me feedback in the discussion and issue tracker sections here at CodePlex. Also, there is plenty of room for additional people to jump in and get their hands dirty in code, documentation, and testing. So please, get involved! :)

A big special thanks goes out to those who have helped out with testing, suggestions, and encouragement!

it seems to not start in win8consumer preview, but then I discovered it in my taskbar notification icons. you must show the user that you've started up properly! and I was hoping for webcam implemetation. the mouse... is still a mouse.

Nice piece of soft, thanks for sharing! I think I've some ideas how to get it more usable. 1) MUST HAVE: Let me exclude application. e.g. I've mouse gestures set in Chrome. HighSign disables (overtake) these gestures :( This is the only reason I cannot use HighSign! 2) NICE TO HAVE: When in training mode, ask me only for undefined gestures, otherwise use the already defined gesture.

This project is just at the beginning, but already offers a great deal of functionality and I use it on a daily basis with great results and no problems...

Considering that it's still in alpha, and that the fundamental functionality is already working smoothly, I easily rate this a 5-star release. It should only get better. Give this a try, and you won't be disappointed.
